RELEVANT EXPERINCE

With over 9 years of experience teaching and coaching fencing in middle schools, high schools as well as at the collegiate level, I have many years of experience working with kids and adults of all ages. My management and head coaching experiences have helped hone my training and communication skills while also implementing administrative tasks. Currently, I am working towards full teacher certification through the Washington D.C. certification pathway in U.S and will complete this program in June 2021. I also work as a general manager and fencing coach for one of the largest fencing clubs in America, so my management, organisation and teaching skills make me an excellent candidate for teaching positions. Additionally, my background is in art so I enjoy incorporating my creativity into teaching to make my lessons engaging and full of energy.

HOBBIES / INTERESTS
I have travelled to many countries to referee fencing world cups, and greatly enjoy the experience of travelling and seeing different cultures. I love studying languages and can speak Spanish, Japanese and a little Mandarin. Art is my other passion, I love to draw -- particularly in pen and ink utilising ink washes. I am also an avid fitness fanatic and train every day. I love to fence, cycle, run, practice tai chi, and slackline.
