Implementing STEAM Components
Science: Based on the subject being studied, in terms of environmental science, climate science, biology, and others. Researching the science, and also the science-deniers who do not believe the science and their justifications, will empower students to combat the ignorance which exists in some spheres about the topic.

Technology: This is central to the project as well, as it will be the medium of communicating the results to the target audience and studying the ways in which we communicate to the world with technology. Using the website to house the products will involve learning a complex set of skills, including creating a manipulating a website.

Art: This comes into play as the creative component of communicating the results and findings and messages to the public via the website which will be created using more visual and digital arts skills and creations of communication methods. The math will be turned into a visual display, the artistic product will be pure art, and the writing can be viewed as a kind of art. Also, the design of the website also entails an artistic, creative component.

Math: This will be incorporated in the analysis of data and the explication of that data for the wider public's consumption and edification. One of the three products students create will involve the presentation of persuasive mathematical data about the issues they selected.
